Gardit A/S has permanent workshops in Viborg, Fasterholt, Esbjerg and Lindø with a total floor space of 18,000 square metres, climate-conditioned and well-equipped. For unloading and storage, the surrounding plant areas are totally 186,000 square metres. The workshop facilities are capable to handle constructions up to 100 tonnes with dimensions 5 x 7 x 45 metres.
Gardit A/S performs surface protection in harbours, at shipyards and on ships in service.
Repair and maintenance at sea make extraordinary demands on safety and working environment due to harsh weather conditions. Moreover, to comply with strictest international standards it requires highly qualified employees and special tools and equipment.
The wind power industry requires a working lifetime of 20 years for each unit. Wind turbines must be able to withstand harsh weather, wind and environmental conditions and high demands are made on every stage in the production process. Documentary proof must be provided in every detail from receipt to delivery.
